My child hood was different than that of the average kid who grew up watching cartoons, riding bicycles & playing ball with friends on the block. I didn't know it then, but I guess mom and & dad struggled to make ends meet early on because mom ironed clothes and didn’t have the time to watch my sister and I fuss and fight like young brothers & sisters do. At 4 years old my dad (then, a residential framing contractor) took me to his job sites where I played with blocks of wood, and hung out with dad and his helpers. Once I began school mom picked us up after the bell and drop me off at dad's job site. And that’s how I spend the week, Saturdays, and every summer; on the job with my dad. Sure, I wanted to play with my friends and watch cartoons on Saturday, but looking back on those days, I realize now how lucky I was to have spent nearly every waking hour with my father.
I've learned a child’s ears will deafen to advice, but their eyes are always open to an example. Dad was honest, always truthful even when it meant being on the losing end. His word was his honor and if he made a promise, he would sacrifice to keep it. He was faithful to his God, church and family. Always tried to do the right thing in everything he did. As the years rolled on, I watched dad become one of the most respectable custom home builders in our city. He made sure to make me do-it-right even in the attic and in places no human eye would ever see. That example burned into my brain and has become the compass of my life and work.
I loved designing and building and went on to become an architect and custom home builder. Yes there are up days and not so up days in every line of work, but I have to say, each day I couldn't wait to get out of bed because pulling dreams out of a customer's mind, putting them on paper, then building it and watch my customer's dream turn into a reality, put a purpose in my life that was bigger than me, and a spring in my step that made me embrace the morning with excitement.
In 1997 I suffered a life threatening head injury in a job site accident. Yes, my building career was over and I went through 4 years of intense therapy. And that’s how I ended up in this business. My cousin introduced me to an opportunity and it was through the opportunity that I began putting things on line. Over time I had accounts scattered all over the place from email accounts, web hosting accounts, video hosting accounts, you name it. Then one day the phone rang out of the blue. It was a company asking me if they could pay me to recreate for them what I was doing for myself. After accepting the job, I realized there were thousands of people out there just like me who would appreciate an application with every online marketing tool in one easy to access place. It was then I founded OfficeVP, LLC , and was lucky to have meet some on the brightest developers & engineers in the world, including Eder and Mark, who has been with me since the beginning. Eder and Mark are now my business partners and dear friends. Yes, we have spent some very long hours and stressful nights working through the growing pains for sure. But the journey has been worth it.
Through it all, our vision remains constant, to create an affordable marketing application with every tool you need for all of your marketing needs. Today I am proud to introduce OfficeVP. OfficeVP is the product of years of hard work, and represents the most advance marketing system in the world. Best of all, with OfficeVP, you get all of what would cost you two to three hundred dollars per month for as low as just $15/mo. We believe it just makes sense to have it all in one easy place, so that accessing the tools is a one-click, instead of multiple logins somewhere. More importantly, we wanted to level the playing field for everyone, making available the same tools that until now were unaffordable.
OfficeVP is easy, fun and affordable. In fact, one of our customers told me that by the time he added up all the other media & hosting accounts he was able to close since switching to OfficeVP, he was saving close to $400 bucks a month, and the video email & audio email has exploded his click-through rates. That makes me smile, and is why organizations of all sizes are choosing OfficeVP as their communication's choice. OfficeVP makes working fun, and just plain makes life a little easier.
